Frequently Asked Questions
Do you carry insurance?
Yes. We carry comprehensive liability insurance and provide certificates of insurance (COI) to venues upon request. We also coordinate with venue teams on any additional insurance requirements or rider provisions.
Can you work with in‑house or union AV teams?
Absolutely. We collaborate respectfully with venue technical staff, in-house AV providers, and union crews. We align with house rules, load-in schedules, and technical specifications to ensure smooth coordination across all vendors.
How do you handle must‑plays and do‑not‑plays?
We collect both during the planning process and build sets that fit your vibe, audience demographics, and event flow. Your must-plays get prominent placement, and your do-not-plays never touch the playlist. We also stay flexible—if the crowd responds differently than expected, we read the room and adjust.
What's your setup footprint and power requirements?
It varies by room size and package. A basic DJ setup might need 8x8 feet and two 20-amp circuits, while a full production with LED floors, uplighting, and screens requires more space and dedicated power. We'll share detailed specs with your venue during planning so there are no surprises on show day.
Can we preview visuals and lighting before the event?
For larger programs and corporate events, we offer warehouse mock setups where you and your stakeholders can review lighting palettes, branded LED content, screen layouts, and sightlines before load-in. This ensures alignment on the look and feel well before your guests arrive.
Do you provide planning support and timelines?
Yes. Every booking includes a planning session where we build your run of show, map cues and transitions, coordinate with other vendors, and create a detailed timeline. For weddings, we'll walk you through ceremony audio, grand entrances, toasts, and dance floor pacing. For corporate events, we'll sync with your AV team on session transitions, walk-ups, and VOG.
